2018 Toyota Supra Spied testing on the Nurburgring, Nordschleife!

As for the 2018 Toyota Supra engine options, we’re looking at three possibilities. Entry level options will receive a 2.0 L turbo four and the top trims will most likely see either a BMW derived straight six (unlikely, since Toyota may just use one of their own engines) or a V6. We will see a power output of 200-250 horses from the four cylinder, and most likely 340 HP or so from the available six cylinder.
Now, I know I mentioned something about a hybrid drive train, so we will most likely see that out of the six cylinder upper-trim options. That would most likely mean that cars with the hybrid system will not be able to have a manual transmission, so expect a 6-speed manual and 8-speed automatic. Things are sparse as of now, but look for some 0-60 times in around five seconds. But that doesn’t matter because tuning companies will most likely throw turbos in there and make 1,000 HP because that’s the tuner thing to do.
